Agriculture can bring holistic development around the globe. but it throws unique challenges and is awaiting creative and committed solutions. The sector has been in need of a common platform for convergence of expertise and a specialized agency to implement projects at grass root level. To address the above objectives Agriculture Group along with Indian Council of Agriculture Research and CRISAT came together in the year 2010 to launch India Africa Agriculture Partnership Platform And thus was International Agriculture Consulting Group created as specialized agency for project consulting and execution, primarily by mobilizing Indian expertise Later, the scope was expanded to include developing countries in Asia and Latin America and other parts of the world.

Agrifuture Group has been in knowledge management and agribusiness-consulting since the year 1996 with a large client base of blue chip agri companies, Institutions and Governments its partners CAR is the world's largest agriculture scientific body with 105 national level research institutions under it and CRISAT is the largest global organisation under CCIAR system IACG with the support of the three big organisations has developed expertise across the food and agriculture value chain for agribusinesses consulting and projects implementation in India and across the globe. It has developed national and global linkages and taken on board over 1200 experts from all domains to handle specialized as well as large projects on the ground.
